Not sure I see a difference. The TT/TT2 is an automatic 'box with torque converter plus buttons/paddles to hold and chnange gears. How is this different from a 'proper' slush 'box.

TouchTronic is a true automatic. You seem to be confusing TouchTronic with Sportshift.

they are either manual (v rare) or true autos with torque convertors
NONE are actuated manuals like sport shift

Ah, there you go. I get it now. For some reason, I was convinced it was an automated manual. Are they actually good auto boxes or not so good ones? I mean are they mercedes (ahem) good or just boring and slushy?
