Removed post query. Can I speak to a Mod?

I had a post removed this evening, I understand why it was removed but would like to speak to the mod or another one to clarify what I can and can not say so that I can start another thread.

No, I did understand. Not allowed to advertise charity events. This is the third year I've mentioned this event but the first time I've had a thread removed. Also happens to be the first time I mentioned the word charity.

If I was to start a new thread, not mentioning 'charity' like I have in previous years, would it be removed?
