I am looking to get some more bucket type sports seats for when we do track days in the Chim, even with a 4 point harness around the corners you still get thrown around a lot with the standard seats.

Anyone have experience of what does actually fit?

Elise seats seem quite well liked by the track guys but not sure how road/daily use friendly they might be, or how suited to the, err, fuller figured amongst us...

Porsche tombstones would be a good road friendly upgrade IMO 'if they fit'

I like the look of those (and allow fitting of harness)

Do you know if the I or II is the one pictured? do they both fit? the II is wider and that is always the constraint to fitting, that and position of our rolebar may pose issues.

Sorry Nick , i might be able to find out ,Rob who owns the car fitted them because they sit lower and support his back(cured his back ache) . There are all the measurements on the website .I don`t think they have runners . Seats for track racing /trackdays should not recline or slide forward and back .

They will do any colour ,I just can``t see how they do it for the money ,They are cheaper than a retrim

I would pull a seat out and try one in for size .

They don't. Drove 150mls to buy some. They are too high, even took all the runners off. Fortunately I sold them to the chap across the road who had a friend who was building a VW camper van.

Sounds sad, I have been looking at MG TF seats.

Tuscan seats in mine. Comfortable for a long run but basically a bucket seat with the removable squab taken out. I've seen 6 point harnesses used with them but I'm never sure I like the idea of using a harness without having specific holes in the seats.

The other thing I'd say against the Tuscan seats is that they aren't exactly featherweight (although they're lighter than standard)

Are they the wider ones ? What would you do without me cool The whole interior would of looked spoton in that colour combo ,

Are they leather ? and did they take much fitting ? Rob had to fit them on a board .

Also interested to know if they are Odyssey II's or I's? Did you fit them on runners or bolt directly to the floor? What was the lead time from Intatrim?

Thanks.

Ah they look excellent, if you wouldn't mind me sticking my backside in them on Monday that will save me a trip to Telford as I've been thinking about these for a while. Are they odyssey 1 or 2?
