I`m only thinking about you ! I don`t want you to waste your money ..

If you get in trouble I have a spare bumper seat idea

I have a couple of race seats available if anyone wants to try them. I am a tight fit, hip bones tight against the sides with a 35 inch waist. I stopped using them only because it was a faff changing them over every track day, and you wouldn't want to use them for road use.

I found Elise seats not very comfortable, but seat comfort is such a personal thing. I know where there is a pair available, with frames and TVR logo'd up, if anyone wants Elise seats.

I have gone back to my standard Chim seats, but with 4 point harnesses which I do up really tight (which is why I didn't go for six point eek )

Are they the wider ones ? What would you do without me cool The whole interior would of looked spoton in that colour combo ,

Are they leather ? and did they take much fitting ? Rob had to fit them on a board .
They are the wider ones. And I agree on colours - may look at re-doing the central bit in black + orange + the door cards, we used too heavy leather last time and it has wrinkled (all a learning curve!)

Fitting was not easy from what my Dad said, but I will let him answer what he did.

Just a thought, but if you were having the interior retrimmed would it be possible to reduce the padding around the transmission tunnel to allow a slightly wider seat? Would be great to be able to sit some nice Recaros.

There is no padding on the tunnel or do you mean "trim the seats"?

I think sonic means the two pads that run either side of the center tunnel piece.

I don't think the padding is any wider than the chassis width - so the answer is no.

Probably a silly question Nick (as you've bought them) but how are they comfort wise ? as I think you & I are a similar build. I've been thinking about these for some time but not had the time to get over to Telford for a try. Also if you don't mind me asking, what do I need to budget for in 2 colour leather ? (unless they're vinyl of course). Thanks in advance. Richard

I know someone who might be interested. Have you got some more details? PM me please.

I have not tried them yet, the car is still up in Norfolk, my Dad said they were very comfortable but probably not for long journeys.

Will be at Snetterton on Monday if you can make it along.

Thanks for the offer Nick but we're taking daughter off to uni at Bangor tomorrow & overnighting there, pity it's not an event at Anglesey ! I'll try & pop into to Telford on the way back & try them at Intatrim, but it's not the same as trying them in a Chim.
