TVR Vixen on Carsandclassics feedback

I'm new to pistonheads and looking to buy my first classic car. This advert in Carsandclassics has caught my eye. Does anyone know the car and its history?

It is a VERY early 1600M, perhaps one of the first 40 M series built (as that bonnet was only made at that point).

Alphaone - the car has just been re-advertised - do you know anything about the car - your comment about seller being told twice makes me wonder?
