She'll get used to it but you'll need to use positive reinforcement every she wears it until she does. I went though all this getting my two used to their packs.

Is it just me or does that harness 'contraption' you are strapping to your dogs look ever so slightly cruel?

I'm pretty sure my dog would be pretty annoyed if I tried to strap that to him!

Cruel? Not sure how, just the same as any harness.

I put Logan in one in the car for safety reasons.he doesn't care a bit.

Do you consider sled dogs pulling heavy sleds cruel?

I just didn't think the greyhound in this thread looks too happy!

Puppies don't like collars to start off with.
