I need to replace my two left wheels on my Chim 450 (original five spoke), but have been unable to find any.

I would gladly buy some custom wheels, but can not find any of those either without changing tyre sizes. Since I have new rubber all around, that isn't an option.

Does anyone know of a place in the Surrey area that can set me up with a set of wheels??? I have tried the TVR dealers. I have also tried tyre dealers and the larger web sites.

I still have a wanted add for two wheels on this site, so if anyone out there has some, please let me know.

thirsty.

have you enquired about getting your original wheels repaired, it's surprising what they can fix.

... but do they guarantee the work?

Might look nice, but I wouldn't want a damage repaired wheel on my 160mph+ car any more than I'd want remoulds.

I got some from the TVR Centre last year, they must be worth a go as you are getting desperate!

right now I have two "loaner" wheels from SHG in Farnham. The originals (which were in great shape) were beyound repair.. the front one had a huge chunk knocked out of it, and the rear one was buckled.

SHG is being real good about it, but I am sure they want their wheels back.

What about fitting Griff 500 alloys - that's a common change.

Who knows what you get when you buy secondhand!, A good repaired will check for cracks/damage whihc may be unseen.
