Second hand book on amazon and I think it is still available, new, through the TVRCC (and a bit cheaper) wink

Not used 'em myself but I've heard good things about Guglielmi Motorsport for a "Geo" set up.

Have fun with your dashboard smile

I got mine done by Mat Smith made a big difference to the car, , don't think
you will ever make sense of anything behind the dash if it works just leave
it alone, give Mat a ring he's good with all things TVR and he has an S as well.

Hi Tango 123,
To help you in your Biblical quest, you could try emailing "MWBS3" on here via his PH profile page.

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to be able to help with this info.
Some blinked & missed it wink

Edited due to confusing crossover glitch when searching poster's profile.

Slowly but surely working my way through the wiring, lost the fabled burnt out yellow plug off the ignition switch , replaced with a better quality multi plug .Amazon only have the book for 4 grand !!. Thanks for all the suggestions reguarding alignement could do with someone near my town of Worksop notts. The dashboard is getting a redesign , doing it in brushed stainless and updating the warning lights , and losing the clock .Heater motor seems to have seized too, might leave that for another time !

Had a frustrating day trying to remedy the courtesy light switches, old brycrest units single bolt fitting . A right pain to get out had to dismantle them to get them out of the car , cleaned all contacts up refitted but only one showing continuity . Played about with the one that didnt work stripped the contact out and changed for a brass screw and nut !. replaced in car only to find that shutting door the plunger wasnt long enough to open the switch !.Still no luck with Steve Heath book, also can anyone tell me were on the car the fibre optic thingy my bob fits found mine abandoned disconnected, under the centre console. Also the feed for the cigarette lighter is tapped in to the heater circuit.... is this correct ? . How hard is it to remove the heater motor ? looks a devil. AAAh well 2 steps forward and 3 back !!!

Seriously, I wouldn't waste your time on issues like this. Even if you do get both switches working, it will only be temporary.

Have a look HERE. See the post on Wednesday 15th December 2010.

Might as well get it done seeing as you have the dash off. You don't want to do that again, do you?

Good luck thumbup

Hi Tango 123,
Perhaps my earlier reply was a bit too cryptic?
Re Steve Heath book:

"To help you in your Biblical quest, you could try emailing "MWBS3" on here via his PH profile page."

I think he has one.

HTH.

Or RT Racing in Sheffield. They have a good reputation.

If Willow have the proper Hunter kit they certainly know what they are doing with TVRs. Just not sure that i remember seeing it in their workshops. Give them a call.
But then, I haven't been to RT Racing at all.

I too go to Mat Smith Sports Cars, my car is so beautifully set up that i can only recommend him to you. But I can see that over 100 miles each way is a bit of a trip. It's 70 miles each way for me. What you might gain is some general help and advice from him - he loves his TVRs and is particularly passionate about the S; as said above he owns one. And he has completely stripped his, so will know where everything is. And he does like to talk cars....... yes

Mat set my car up for road and track, and i was keeping pace with my 300 bhp with a 430 bhp Cerbera around Cadwell Park on Monday.....as was Mat in his 210 bhp Chimaera 4 litre. Cadwell Park is all about handling.....

Mulling over to get rid of immobiliser now im in the "bowels" of the wiring its a toad and i think originally flashed indicators when armed or disarmed , this part no longer functions. Looks like original to car, what to change it for ....no idea !. Obviously need some kind of deterrent .
