Upgrade xenon bulbs

Looking to upgrade my xenon headlight bulbs on e90 to something a bit more modern and cool looking, I saw a f30 today and particularly liked the colour of the bulbs.. Anyone know what they use or a good upgrade

HID's (aftermarket) are available in different colour temperatures. OEM is normally 4300k (Whiter than standard halogen bulbs), after 6000k (Ice White) they're pretty pointless as they decrease the useable light emitted.

If your talking standard headlight bulbs, the same will also apply.
