We are up to number 3 at the moment.

If I had a gun we would have holes in the wall. But cup and paper it is.

We moved into our new house on 7th August. It had been empty for 4.5 months and I think the spiders were using its a temporary digs.

We get one of those a night, every night. Each is dispatched via a cup to teme end of the road, hopefully the little fkers will get the message soon.

All clear tonight so far, maybe it's working.

I don't mind them, they do no harm. More than once I've been woken up by a big one walking across my face.

Infinitely preferable to the time I was camping and there was a slug on my face, or the other time the cat crapped on my head frown

Two so far, this year. BIG with hairy legs. Don't like them either. Do they come up through the plug hole, or what?

Honestly I think I'd rather a cat st on my head than wake up to find a giant spider orienteering across my face!

He is my best mate, but an utter, total git.

I was once reading a book in bed, sat propped up on pillows. Cat wanted a cuddle. I was reading so ignored him.

Next thing he turns round and sprays me in the face over the top of my book. vomit

Di I mention that he's a git?

A few years ago now but this chap was pretty much the first thing I tried a new macro lens on; just a (big) house spider in the sink... eye eye smile

Mine from a couple of years ago. It was waiting for me in the hall and reared up on its back legs, twice.

That is a pint glass it's in!

Spiders aren't so bad, it's the autumn arrival of cluster flies that I hate!

That's weirdly coincidental - I caught two massive spiders last night too.

I don't kill them - put a glass over them and release them.

I'm braver than him.

Fact.

I wasn't terrified, merely 'anxious' in a manly warrior type way.
