I wholeheartedly agree. Curb cattle production and replace with human 'meat' - start with the Greenies!

The flaw in their plan is that more and more arable farm land is being given up to growing bio fuels. If we all switch we would bloody starve!

Yawn, if this is news to you you're the idiot. That dead cow takes a vast amount of energy to make is not news to anybody else.

One way or the other, unless the population decreases the cost of good meat is only going to go one way.

Have they managed to find the global warming they're taxing us on carbon dioxide for yet?

If you can't afford that you're doing something wrong.

2 bacon sarnies
7 chicken breasts
Total... 10quid?

Maybe afford is the wrong word, but I definitely don't have that much each week.

Really? I think I eat quite lean but manage to exceed that, more on the red meat than the poultry though.

Each evening meal has sausage, bacon, mince, chicken or fish. Also have a cooked breakfast or two every week. Then there are the lunchtime ham sarnies...

Yes. It is at a level of scientific certainty as way back when it was proven that the earth was, in fact, round.

Also, that the cause is human activity (cows included) is also no longer disputed in mainstream scientific circles.

To deny global warming today is to put yourself into a group of people who cannot be reasoned with and who are not likely to believe any evidence at all. To me it is like someone claiming Elvis is still alive or that some magicians really can make things disappear.

If all such PH folks can make themselves know below..... oh you are already typing?!

How have you found the coldest August on record? I'll be honest, I could do with this fabled Global Warming actually putting in an appearance.

And leave my sodding meat alone irked
