Today sees the last rush of transfers, often rash, desperate and not always the best choice.

I feel we may have something in common. We haven't replaced Shane long yet and it looks like we are selling George Boyd to Burnley. Sure we brought in Michael Dawson, but our biggest problem is scoring goals, we need better strikers and better players who can make the goal scoring opportunities

I think this one is going to be the biggest one so far...quite a few clubs need to do something and it's not just the smaller clubs.

Utd need players
Arsenal need a couple
Spurs need some
City are being linked to moves still
Chelsea are probably done after confirming Remy yesterday.

A lot in common TBH, we are desperately short of firepower up front. We have the playmakers, but nobody with the clinical finishing required to put them away.

I'm seeing this morning that we are linked with Jermain Defoe. Another loan deal to fill the cracks....

Looks like Falcao could be heading to City; excellent...

Sounds like Utd have got falcao, some saying 65m euro 4 year deal some saying 20m loan deal.

From what I've seen, strikers are 3rd down on the list of 'things Man Utd need'. They desperately need a decent CM and then 2 CBs.

God knows where he'll even play, although their transfer policy recently looks like a kid playing Championship Manager with the money cheat turned on. But don't forget that City and Chelsea are the only teams who try and buy trophies

Rumours of RvP needing surgery, Hernandez off to Madrid, Welbeck possibly off... if not maybe Rooney being dropped deeper? I'm sure we'll find out in the coming weeks.
