Was there a midlands VW event this weekend?

Hi Guys.

Driving home yesterday (Sunday) from the MotoGP race at Silverstone, up the M1 then M6, I noticed a significant number of very, very tasty-looking air-cooled VWs, mostly customised. At first they were heading south, then eventually they were going north, the same as me, suggesting a VW meeting somewhere in the midlands.

So was there an event? If so, what was it, and how did it go?

Yep, Edition 38 was on. Just North of Northampton I think.

I saw quite a number of vags too on m5 south bound at about 5pm
