DB9 Misfire & Emissions Service Required
Discussion
Hi All,
My infrequently used '05 DB9 has been trouble free for the 18 months I've owned it until now...
On a drive yesterday the engine management light came on and 'Drive Slow - urgent inspection required' appeared on screen with a second error of 'Emissions Service Required' too.
These disappeared, but soon after there was a noticeable misfire/roughness. Today, the 'Emissions Service Required' message is constantly displayed. I took it for a hard drive (with some Redex in the tank) to see if this could clear anything without success. It's not as running as rough as it was, but it's definitely not right. It appears fine at low revs, and rougher the higher the revs go.
I've ordered an OBD II reader to see if I can decode the error... But until that arrives I'm at a loss.
Does anybody have any ideas before I bite the bullet and hand over a wad to Stratstone?
Thanks in advance!
