I enquired about this car when it first came available. It started life as a tuscan V6 and was exported from the UK in the 90s. The major stumbling block was getting the car back here at a reasonable cost, as it had been converted to a V8 it was classed as modified and would now attract import duty and then VAT at 20% of the total price incuding shipping and import tax. Yes thats taxed tax lol. If the car was original it would have only been liable to 5% vat as a classic car of historical value. Im pretty sure it sold and stayed in Oz it went to a collector apparently.

Think outside the box Chris you get a garage to take the engine out ship it over as a V6 minus the engine and ship the engine seperatly and pay 20 percent on the price of a second hand V8 not a lotChris

These cars don't half get around and pop up in all sorts of places still waiting for one to pop in African although maybe someone will say its already happened I know that most if not all European Countries have at least one but some many and most are fine examples thanks to the love and attention they lavish on them that one looks like a great example for one of the Australian TVRCC to get sorted and back on the Road Exciting.here that car on fleebay>
