Anyone with a Griff or Chim near Woking, Surrey?
Discussion
Having moved house since I sold the last griff I'm a little unsure if the ramp over the pavement, off the road to my new driveway might not be a little too high to get a Griff up. It's just a standard lowered kurb and over the pavement to my driveway (which is then completely level, but the pavement has a ridge across it).
Rather than find out later I was wondering if there's anyone in the area who would be able to nip round sometime and take a look for me?
Obviously I'm not going to get you to ground your car out, just see if it looks ok, please??
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike, I have a Chim and live in Woking.
Only problem is, that it is away having an engine rebuild at the moment.
Wont be back for approx. 3 weeks.
If you are still in need by then, please contact me and I will be more than willing to pop round.
That would be great, unless another generous local and do me a favour before then?Only problem is, that it is away having an engine rebuild at the moment.

I've got a Chimaera, and live in Horsell.
I've also got a couple of days off work today and tomorrow (Thu and Fri), although slightly busy today.
Let me know when you're around Friday or over the weekend, and I'll bring the car round and see if it fits!
Much appreciated David, I've sent you and email. I've also got a couple of days off work today and tomorrow (Thu and Fri), although slightly busy today.

Good to meet and chat, Mike!
Going in at an angle is the key; there was a slight brush of the exhaust when I was going in straight. And on the way out, I lined up on the far left-hand side and then steered towards the drop kerb on the right-hand side - no problem!
Let's keep in touch; could be useful for both of us to know a fellow TVR owner so locally.

So here I am, stuck in an office all day, looking at the sunshine outside and wishing I could get the Chim out, but it's 90 miles away at home.
Lovely sunshine outside, window open for fresh air, a fly has just flown in and is buzzing around my head, cars keep going by, some ahole has a pneumatic drill going about 100 yards away, and a plane from Duxford is practising his aerobatics right overhead for this weekend's Air Show. So peaceful in the country.....
