Cerbera AJP Engine Mounts
Discussion
Hi I ordered one the other week from clever Trevor and it was slightly thinner than the original, it also seams a lot harder rubber and does transmit more vibration.
I've been looking online and if you search for male/female bobbins, rubber mounts then quite a few suppliers of anti-vibration mounts come up.
My original mounts are 75mm x 40mm with an M12 bolt, I only found a couple of suppliers which do the exact same size. I'll post up a link when I get home.

I was looking at M12x37 75x40 with a choice of three rubber strengths.

This may or may not be some help; I bought a pair of gearbox mounts, Rubber Mount Male/Female 50x35mm M10 Thread, off eBay from small_plant_and_garden_spares AKA L&S Engineers for just £13 inc. I imagine they would be able to supply appropriately sized engine mounts as well.

Looks like there's quite a difference in engine mounts dimensions then. The one I bought from Clever Trevor was only 35mm, no wonder I was getting a lot more vibration.
I have since changed them both for a pair from Av industrial and they absorb more vibration and transmit less noise which is good.

Has anyone ever tried fitting hydraulic mounts?
This would be interesting to do after driving a friends M3 with original engine mounts and then driving it with hydraulic mounts that held the engine better but also absorbed more vibration, the handling was noticeably better. The question is though does the engine move much in a Cerb or are the standard mounts good enough?Joolz kindly explained that the reason the high pressure oil line was routed behind the sump on later models was because some early cars had suffered oil line failure when the line became crushed through contact with the anti-roll bar
I will definitely be replacing the engine mounts, as I assume my old mounts may have sagged with age
I will definitely not consider fitting hydraulic mounts as when they fail the engine would drop by 15mm or so

£26 for a pair inc p&p seems fair
