Advise on DFAV carb for modified essex v6

I have an essex v6 powered Capri with
stage 2 heads,fast road cam, electric fuel pump,
A rebuilt bottom end, new sports manifolds, electric ignition and lots of other toys.
However I no longer have my 38 DGAS or will it provide enough fuel.
Will a 40 DFAV be a better carb for around the 200bhp mark??
Any help will be appreciated =]
