4-6 of us want to charter a crewed yacht somewhere circa 40-50ft for about 2 weeks around the Croatian coast next year. I've looked through previous threads but everything relates to bareboat rental. We are not boaters so this is not an option.

Any recommended companies to use? Any advice? And what should we expect to pay all in? I'm guessing somewhere between £10-15k?

Thanks!

I've a friend who's just returned to Croatia, he spent a season there before as a skipper. I'll try and get some advice if you are still looking ?

That would be hugely useful! Thanks Simon.

Basically, the main question is... who should we use / contact if we want to hire a motor yacht with crew.

There are lots of websites out there but they all seem positively crap. Or maybe they just look dodgy but can actually be trusted?

Not sure if this company will offer what you want but we hired a cabin on a Turkish cruise a couple of years ago - I understand they also do Croatian ones.

They were very very good.

I've sailed a lot of Croatia and we went with Sunsail. You can do Flotilla with the odd day free sail if you want. You can also have someone on board to show you the ropes for the first few days if you want.

Sorry been on a WiFi free island the last week, tough life.
I have asked my friend so waiting for a reply.
Think he was working for sunsail in Thailand where he has just left.

couldn't fault them tbh each time I've been. New yachts and well cared for, last time I went the yacht was still having it's rigging put up and wrapping taking off it was that new.

Right, do you know what time of year you will be going ?

Do you know which area ? (Apparantly there are three main areas, although i don't know which they are).

Let me know and he can recommend a few companies and some skippers......
