McCartney and Carlsberg.

I'm not an enormous fan of Post Beatles McCartney but he can be forgiven a lot for this, his half hour jam session with Roy Gaines, Al Williams, Dale Atkins, Henree Harris, Motown Maurice, Lil Poochie, Misha Lindes and Johnny Depp.

Congratulate more like thumbup

I had been pondering the same question for a while, wondering how many volumes this might have run to over the years as one thread.

We will stay with this one then unless the founder, lord summerisle objects. Iam happy he is on the first page and I think mrmaggit did a fine job for a long time, but I would prefer this to be one continuous thread.

So long as the 6.00 pm opener on a Friday night contains some drink, some music and this beer this place can be opened biggrin

Hey so long as it carrys on, tis a bit of fun.

As to why a new thread, the days before the forum was split into news and the lounge, the old forum moved so much in a week that it was just a easier to start a new thread each week.

Anyway. This week it's the sons of wood crackling on a campfire and the rush of water over a waterfall, while drinking Abbot Ale.

Well we all know where the Local is, be a shame not to call in every now and again.

Pardon this deviation, but I went with Mrs C for a roast dinner at Step Daughter #2's house where The Mamas and the Papas Greatest Hits was playing.

It was so restful I fell asleep on the sofa afterwards.

I just felt you should know.

Surprised at that, I'd expect you to be drinking some hitherto unknown westcountry cider.

I'm drinking Rekorderlig Pear and listening to the John Butler Trio.

Currently sat at work still but I have a fridge full of cold Stella.

Listening to odds & sods on Youtube, but this was a highlight.

Josh Homme & PJ Harvey on Jools.

Very cool.
