Buying a car next week - what documents ?

Hi all, I am buying a car ( used) in the Netherlands next week, just want to check what documentation I should be looking out for ?

Then driving to uk on transfer plates

Any advice welcome

Are you buying private or from a dealer ?

Either way - check for the usual receipts for work done, service history etc.

Then you'll receive the green "kenteken papier" or registration document. If buying private you'll go together to the post office to do the transfer of ownership.
If from a dealer - they will sort the transfer of ownership for you.

You'll also need to contact the RDW and inform them you are exporting the car. You can find their details with some limited information in English here;
