I've not ventured into this section before but thought you might be interested in these Novas I saw tucked away in an industrial unit. I remember these from years ago but haven't seen one for a long long time.

First saw one of these when I was about 10-11 I think

Just an amazing shape (when you're ten)

The two cars are Novas, as they appear to have the rising roof entry system (second car design from Richard Oakes). The Eagle was a rip off design with gulling doors.

I got the original brochure when I was at college (about 1973).

There is a PHer building one with a Lotus chassis but I don't know what has happened to that project.

My uncle had a white Nova with a Porsche 914 engine bach in the mid 1970's.
A very striking car in its day.

It was the first sports car or kit car id ever been in and first time id seen 100mph.
His car became neglected and slowly rotted away on his drive - great shame.

Coincidentally, I saw one on the road over the weekend, close to where I used to watch one being built when I was a kid. Same colour, very faded, looked tiny in 2014 traffic!

My wife said "don't even think about it..."

Something very retro cool about these, would look great in a satin graphite colour with a scooy turbo in the back (assume they are beetle based?), much better than the Eagle. Poor man's version of the Pink Panther car ?

We have one in our workshop at present.
Putting a N/A 2.5 Subaru lump in the back.
