TOSH - Tuscans Over Surrey Hills

Following interest from various recent buyers in the area, I am proposing the following:

Target date: Sunday 28th Sep
Backup plan if peeing down: Sunday 5th October

Meet at Wotton Hatch pub 11:00, just west of Wescott/Dorking on the A25 grab a coffee then depart 11:30 ish

Route through Gomshall, Ewhurst, Rudgwick, Ockley, stop at the Surrey Oaks in Newdigate for a natter and an ale.

Pencil in the dates if you fancy joining in. Any other suggestions on route welcome.

That does sound like fun! Just a thought... What about sat instead?I always find it easier to get a pass on sat rather than Sunday as there always seems to be something going on!

I work at headley court but my car is kept at my house in stamford, lincs, but more than happy to hitch a ride If allowed

I would guess a pretty gentle pace as there are quite a few newbies... Cruising territory!

yep - sorry I don't break the rules of the road - I recently went for a drive with some BMW friends to find they blatantly break the speed limit and just drive plain dangerously (going around corners faster than they would be able to stop in time if someone had broken down/was pulling out) - ended up just leaving after 10minutes - not my scene, there is a reason they make race tracks! So cruising sounds good to me =)

Ive done that before too...

Some early morning fast runs are great fun but as long as you are with decent people that drive fast sensibly. I went on one once and it started in the middle of a town and there were some (mainly the ferraris i have to say) that went flying off and up through a whole handful of gears down te highstreet...not clever and really dangerous.

When the road opens up then its 'go time' not on high streets....plus, no one can see you posing if you drive fast through town!

Had a partial rehearsal on the way to/from Goodwood Revival today. If the weather is anything like today it will be a blast. God I love the Tuscan !

Looks like the outlaws are moving that weekend so it looks like I'll be drafted in for mule duties. I'll know this weekend what the plans are.
