Someone has spent the time going through all the Grimoire cards and actually making sense of them, worth a read if you've ever wondered why there are 3 different Guardian races in Destiny, why we bother killing the Nexus or who the hell some of the armour pieces were named after...

I'll be online tonight - I haven't touched PoE or Weekly Heroics this week, have yet to set foot in Vault of Glass or Iron Banner and still have one run through Crota's End to do with the Hunter so there's still plenty for me to be be cracking on with!(I do have Crota HM CP on my titan if anyone fancies putting the big guy to the sword this evening, or fancies a shot at Word of Crota, Fang of ir Yut or an exotic chance?)
I ran two Nightfalls on Tuesday. It was during the day and no friends were on so I had to run with LFG randoms. Got two HMGs; Sawtooth Oscillator (high rate of fire low impact) with Spray & Play and Feeding Frenzy and a Thunderlord!
I'm at Silverstone puportedly working but I am trying to grind Iron Banner for all its worth in any free moment. I need three Etheric Light to get both of my characters to lv34 which will be the first time I've ever hit the level cap! I'm just shy of rank 3 on one character so far...

Had a pretty good impromptu HM Crota earlier (cheers guys) and I think Crota is becoming generous in his old age. Personally I got three bits of armour, yet another Oversoul & Abyss, a new ship and absolute boat load of shards and the Crux of Crota. Sadly no Fang or Word but hey, still not a bad little haul
Two others got the Crux too, Thunderlord was given out by Deathsinger and so was WoC and that's just from what I remember, I'm sure there was more loot
Brushed the dust of Eiodolon Ally that's been in the vault for months in order to level it up, Necrochasm here we come (yes, I know it's garbage but who knows what Bungie may buff in the future)
Edit: is there some death mechanic that I don't know about in the bridge section? I grabbed the sword and ran over and killed the Gatekeeper. Still having the sword, I started bashing a random knight and each hit took about a 1/4 of my health down. Before I properly noticed that, I was dead and out of the fight

I'd be up for some 32 / 34 PoE over the weekend - I'm in need of etheric light to get the titan at least to 34 and ascend a couple of choice weapons. I do hope they increase the drop rate of this stuff in the Nightfalls as I don't really "enjoy" the PoE (compared to raiding) but needs must I suppose

I'm not aware of any deliberate mechanic that could cause this. Sounds like something was taking chunks out of you whilst you were doing the same to the knight, or it's just another raid glitch.One thing I have noticed (with alarming frequency) is how many people seem to be hitting hard mode without understanding the small-but-significant changes over normal mode. These include; people shooting boomers when there's no need and thus spawning the major wizard, people running around in the midle and aggroing the gatekeeper (then trying to shoot him, of course!), people dropping into the middle room when ogres spawn and aggroing the gatekeeper (and still trying to shoot him!)and multiple "experienced" swordbearers taking one last swipe at Crota before sword runs out, causing him to enrage. I shan't moan too much about the latter, I still can't run sword with anything except bladedancer!

I got killed by the Totems when I was on the far side and I don't think anyone was even on the plate. Crota chased me off the platfrom whilst retreating to safety after the 1st kneel as well. A couple of glitches, so might just be that.
Wouldn't mind running a couple of raids tonight. I've got 1 up to rank 3 on IB, but not sure if I can be bothered with anymore.

Ha, I don't run swordbearer on HM, so I shall quickly shift any blame over to the guy that does! I got killed by the Totems when I was on the far side and I don't think anyone was even on the plate. I did see Crota teleporting on Tuesday night - he was stainding on the right, then instantly moved to the centre, then to the right, and then ran back to the centre normally. It was laggy as hell!
As I say, I have HM CP on my Titan, so will be happy to share that if people want to show me how a 34 is meant to handle a sword...

Most effective counter anytime you're unexpectedly face to face with a supplicant is just to jump straight upwards - they take a second or so to go through their self-destruct animation which is generally enough time to get you outside of its instant death area.

That's the third time since HoW came out that Xur has sold an exotic which dropped for me the same week! It's happened with Red Death, Khepri's Sting and now Universal Remote so far. Universal Remote
Second time through VoG last night and got Praedyth's Revenge and Corrective Measure plus a few other non-interesting bits. Warlock now lv34 and the first time I've been max level since I got the game as I only hit lv32 after HoW was released.
Hopefully back on Sunday and/or Monday night.
