Did another couple of Nightfall runs, and got my 3rd Suros Regime in two days and another No Land Beyond. So, some nice exotic shards then. Did another Crota HM run as well and while he still refuses to drop a Crux,he did oblige with the only other pre HoW exotic I've been missing and dropped me a Fourth Horseman. I was pretty chuffed with that.

Not much better - 133 discipline according to Bungie.net. I'll pick one up as I don't already have one, and the extra grenade and more ammo will be useful for my occasional forays into the Crucible. Might as well level one whilst levelling the other handful of guns I need to
Edit: slight correction, it's 140 when fully levelled. Couple that with my high discipline roll Crota helmet and I'm a walking grenade factory

I've now got final round and luck in the chamber on it, with small bore increasing stability and range and dropping the magazine capacity.
It only has 7 rounds to start with, so will now have less than that (5? rounds), one with 1/3 more damage and the final round with 1/3 more damage.

For the first time in ages I'm in a position where Xur cannot sell me anything I need. I now have every exotic armour piece in the game and everything but Necrochasm and a couple of weapons from the Elder Cipher Bounty, none of which the tentacle-faced b'stard can help me with. I haven't run a Weekly Heroic for a couple of weeks, and my strange coin collection is sufficient to buy multiple pieces of everything he could sell. So, for yet another week, I guess I'll just be stocking up again on heavy ammo synths.
I'd be up for PoE at the weekend, Skolas included, and I also need to do one more HM Crota run in the vain hope that he finally drops the Crux and I then only need to play Crota's End for the occasional fun run. That'll be nice. If anyone sees me online and would like to make up numbers, pop me an invite.

I'd like to do a 32 & 34 PoE with the Titan as I need etheric light and can bank the armour core for when something useful is up for sale. If anyone would like to accompany me on the 2 x 28 PoE runs I need to do with the other two characters, that would be cool (yes, yes miles behind as usual!)

Awww, but I like the frantic scramble for the hidey hole on the call of "Legions!" only to miss time the jump and land in a pool of goop, but if it's the law ... I did something today that I haven't done for literally months - I removed Destiny from my PS4.
It's my birthday today (35 years old, where have the last fifteen years gone?) and went into the local Game with a few quid in hand looking for something to kill a few hours. Bloodborne was £30, but I can get it cheaper on eBay, so I opted for Saints Row IV Re-Elected and Alien Isolation in a 2 for £30 deal. I played Saints Row IV a ton on the Xbox 360 and it was really good fun, if technically a bit crap, but as this is meant to contain the recently released expansion I thought it'd be worth revisiting. Unbeknownst to yours truly, the expansion isn't on the disc, it comes in the form of a redeemable DLC code on a card included inside the case, and - surprise, surprise - said card is missing from my copy.
I understand buying pre-owned means you may not have access to certain DLC bonuses, (weapon packs, armour packs, map packs and the like) that were included with a given release when new as the previous owner may well have used them, but to miss out an entire expansion is rather galling especially when there is no marking or indication on the case that such a major part of the advertised content isn't actually present. As far as I'm concerned, in this instance its no different from picking up a TV series box set and finding a couple of the discs missing.
Suffice to say, I'll be taking it back tomorrow.

Benny and I were spamming the well a couple of weeks ago. Mars comes out of the hidey hole chuckling "WOW, there's orbs everywhere. I'm taking a photo of that" 
Had a relatively productive morning.
Firstly, popped into Game to see what I could do with Saints Row IV, and fair play, they didn't quibble at all, just refunded it. What was even better was that they refunded the entire amount on the receipt, the full £19.99, rather than the 14.99 I'd technically paid for it. It also means that I've effectively only paid a tenner for Alien Isolation. Bargain. Say what you like about their shop staff, but that was a better outcome than I'd expected, and it was dealt with quickly and with no fuss.
Secondly, did a couple of raids with a group from LFG. Firstly, I joined on a Crota HM CP. Another Word, but still no crux. Seeing as that run went so smoothly, one of the guys suggested doing VoG HM as well. We all agreed. Approximately 55 minutes later, Atheon was dead and I had another load of ascendant shards, energies and another ship. That's the quickest full run of VoG I can recall for a very long time, especially for an LFG group. Everyone was comfortable in multiple roles, so it didn't matter who entered portals, who was teleported, who was left behind,, who held relic, we were all comfortable doing any role. Heck, I think that's the first time I've been in any group that has managed to do Gorgon Maze, Jumping Puzzle, Gatekeeper and then Atheon in one run without a single wipe.
One of the guys also happened to mention he was a bit of a beast in Trials (top 1% for k/d in Crucible), and has gone flawless three times a week since HoW dropped. As a result he's sitting on thirty or fourty etheric light, with nothing to spend them on. He might also have mentioned that if I needed a carry to the Lighthouse he'd be happy to oblige. Given that I'm never going to get their otherwise, I'll likely take him up on that.
On the down side, I've not touched PoE since reset, so have no armor cores left in reserve and have earned no etheric light this week.
