Nightfall was a bit of a grind.

Yeah, enjoyed it, but I got a bit fed up with hiding so did a couple of silly suicide runs to try and tempt old Rocket Dick out into the open, but those Psions with purple shields were nails, they could kill me with a single melee. Annoyed with myself because I had word of crota but didn't use it against the Psions, it would have stripped their shield right down.

Also had some weird comms issues, not sure if it was the controller that got a bath in the dogs water bowl or if my xbone needs a reboot after the dashboard update.

Must do the weekly heroic tonight and get some more kills with my Fatebringer.

Well last night was not good and was about 1/3 the way through with a few on crota when the servers went down for the update. Hoping to finish that tonight and get on nightfall if anyone is free

When you say Nightfall(s), is there more than one? or do you mean do it for each character?

Oh, and I brought a half decent looking Vanguard rocket launcher (one way ticket), no tracking though.

Yeah I need to do 2 but I may just do 1 nightfall and have a crack at scrota.

I did one nightfall and one weekly before the downtime and got an exotic titan chest piece (that I already have).

I then logged on when they came back up and joined fugitive doing the weekly... I must have connected as the last shot went in and did the weekly with zero contribution! I then got an invite from an Irish group I played with through LFG last week and ran sword for them on normal. Got another Mida from it that I'll probably shard.

Managed all three nighfalls last night and got some non descript legendary weapons, now sharded.

One weekly.

One full run through normal crota, we saved the checkpoint and ran crota twice more so Innocent and Tom could get some sword practice.

All went well and got another hunter helmet which had better stats that the one I was using, another Hunger of Crota, a warlock helmet and my billionth No Land Beyond.

Two more weeklies to run tonight.

Good run last night,

3 x nightfalls, 1 x full crota on normal then a further 2 x runs from the crota cp with different sword carriers. No raid weapons but did bag a Mida - I think that was the exotic of choice from RNG.

wow no pressure is there! managed to get the team killed twice then died a further 2 more times with the oversoul being taken down.


Looking forward to chomping through hard crota now......

I'll be on tonight, want to do a CE HM run through, or a normal mode from the start with my 28 titan.

Happy to do a nightfall, however that will be with my 28 too...

Thanks to everyone for the last minute invite into the Crota raid, especially Goatface for ducking back out to let me in!

Felt slightly embarrassed to get an exotic out of it...and The Last Word looks quite cool. Fanfire giving it full auto mode along with stability perks could make it quite an interesting weapon to use! I've read comments that it makes a great hip fire weapon.

Clearing the Destiny cache generally works -

Launch Destiny on your console (Do not press A to play)

-At the sign on screen (the screen that prompts you “Press A To Play”) press and hold the following buttons for ~10 seconds, or until the game launches : Right Bumper (RB) + Left Bumper (LB) + down on the dpad
