"You're", sir, "you're". Thank you for the capitalisation, though.
I spotted my mistake there after I hit the post button but didn't have a chance to edit it before you replied.

The primary purpose of writing is to comunicate. So long as the meaning is understood then the purpose is achieved. Perfect grammar, punctuation and spelling is all good and well but it doesn't necessarily mean that people know what you're on about. As an engineer I have had to read many text books written by people who clearly didn't understand how to communicate effectively.

Mr Hawk won't have any I suspect because he'll be too old biggrin
You suspect correctly. I'll add that I have more than 5 GCEs.

I was once told the first rule of communication: What is said is not important- it is what is heard which matters.
The second rule is that misunderstanding is the fault of the sender rather than the recipient.

I helped my Uncle Jack, off a horse. I did not help my uncle jack off a horse.

North Yorks police rightly proud for a PC getting a bravery award:

But no credit given to the MOP that helped. Sometimes they don't help themselves.

I know you wander around piston heads posting anti police drivel .. But something of that link just does not add up

Seriously .. A bunch of officers under missile attack from a number of party goers stop dealing with that disorder to turn on an innocent bystander .. In fact a fine upstanding innocent bystander who was doing his civic duty by coming to the assistance of the officers who were dealing with a stressful situation .... By Tazering him multiple times ... Really

Especially as the retired inspector who is no longer constrained by police regs has come out and given a totally opposing view claiming that a number of the officers who allegedly racially attacked the complainant were ethnic minority officers

As I said ... Someone is not telling the truth methinks ... But who ?

It's not important whether or not the story is true.
If it's anti police he will already have printed it off, framed it, and mounted it on his mantelpiece, while all the time rubbing his hands with glee.

"Kennedy-Macfoy said he might not have pursued his case if police had not sought to prosecute him – a move he alleges required them to "concoct false accounts of events" to justify their actions."

"People make mistakes; you've got good cops and bad cops," he said. "People act differently under pressure. If at that point they had just said: 'Mate, so sorry – we have been dealing with this party and got it totally wrong,' I really wouldn't have pursued anything. I still would have been pissed off, but I would have accepted their apology and their acknowledgement that they had messed up."

I wonder how much taking the Fireman to court cost the taxpayer?

I wonder why the jury didn't convict him, or it was a Magistrates court?

Perhaps he had a good brief?

Policemen chased autistic man Faruk Ali for fun - BBC News website 26 November 2014 said:
Two police officers chased an autistic man putting out bins for "fun", a court has heard.

Bedfordshire PCs Christopher Thomas and Christopher Pitts are accused of pursuing Faruk Ali, 33, in a police car before PC Thomas attacked him.

Aylesbury Crown Court was played a video from the in-car camera of the officers laughing before PC Thomas chased Mr Ali on foot, in Luton.

PC Thomas, 33, of Welwyn Garden City, denies racially aggravated assault.
'Their own amusement'

He and PC Pitts, 39, from Bedford, both deny perverting the course of justice and two counts of misconduct in a public office.

Yeah, MK3Spitfire, it doesn't matter if it's true. Or what the police car camera footage shows eh?

Buckinghamshire's not even the Deep South!
