As you say its beautiful and fantastic roads. If the weather stays like this i will be going for a ride next week.
It doesn't bother me, it's their language so leave them to it, even though it's st.As you say its beautiful and fantastic roads. If the weather stays like this i will be going for a ride next week.
I must admit the trip I had has made me want to move to Wales. The roads and scenery make the crap language tolerable imo.
Any idea where you'll go?

I used to hate that when I lived in Wales.Mostly because I'm Welsh but don't speak it. Made me feel like a right tit.
That said I've been to Aberdeen where I cant understand a fking word they say.

I have travelled far and wide across Scotland and I have never met anyone who could speak Gaelic.

Thing is Gaelic is a dead language of the highlands. There's only about 15,000 people speak it. As much as Scottish governments love to write it on things for the benefit of tourists you never even spoke it the lowlands. During the Victorian times there was an element of jealousy from the increasingly romantic and wealthy lowlanders, and "Scots" was formalised as a language of the lowlands despite it just being a bastardised form of English. That said I've been to Aberdeen where I cant understand a fking word they say.
Welsh is by contrast is actually a proper language, 1 in 5 people speak it as their first language, not just because someone told them to learn it or it's patriotic. I had mates growing up who's English was st because it wasn't their first language. It's actually quite a slur not to speak Welsh as it's something that was guarded quite closely as a point of pride in Welsh history.
So I'm told anyway. Personally though I think they're all wkers.

Do they think all English people are that interested in what they are saying Certainly some funny types in North Wales.
There used to be an old farmer by my house who used to stand by the road with a sign saying "fk off you English". Curiously there was no Welsh translation under it.

Apparently you can go and stand on a valley at the same level as the fighter jets doing low level flying during the week. I might try and find out about that and have a ride out. Depends where it is as I will have to be back in time to pick my daughter up from school. I must admit the trip I had has made me want to move to Wales. If it's to far it will just be around Bala sort of area I think.

Afraid it's not the same one yazza, or at least not on the same section of that road. I didn't ride it all so can't say for sure. The view I had only had a little river at the bottom.
