I hope I'm in the best place location wise. I'm after some information/recommendations.

My parents celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary next month. They were married in Pershore Abbey, as were my Grandparents (my maternal Grandmother worked there). Both my Granddad & Granny are buried in Pershore cemetery. And my sister and I were both born locally.

What I'm looking for is a recommendation for somewhere nice to eat in view of the Abbey. I was thinking lunch or even Afternoon Tea. That I can pre book and drive my parents over to, meeting my sister & BiL and our families.

There could be anything from just three of us, to a dozen, and possibly 15.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere (I'd like to be able to provide decorations and maybe a cake type thing). And food good and hearty. Doesn't need to be a la carte etc as young children probably involved. Local produce (particularly the Plums) would be great as my family had strong links in this area.

Walking distance and in view of the Abbey would be perfect.

Thanks in advance.

Oh and my Father used to play for and designed the Pershore Rugby Club tie/logo, as well as working at RAE Pershore. So any other info regarding locations/thugs to do most welcome.

I know nothing of Pershore, however that has to be one of the best typos I've seen smile
