About time we moved on from the 2014 thread I think...

Booked up for Morzine for a week from 10th Jan and trying to hurd friends in to a week in Ischgl from 7th March but just getting the usual excuses and procrastination at the moment.

As in previous thread, Flaine for 2 weeks from the 24th of Jan. We will be staying at Le Centaure again. It would be nice to get another trip in but cant see it happening next season.

Nothing booked yet for holidays but a week possibly two teaching in Aosta is sorted. As I’m flexible I’ll wait until I can gauge how the season is shaping up and choose accordingly. It’s not looking like a mates trip is going to happen at all this season so I’ll be looking into some solo trips, either touring or training focused. Did a Snoworks course last year so thinking I’ll do the same this season too.

Morzine last week of Jan. Biked every summer there for the past 4yrs. Always wanted to see it covered in the white stuff.

I'll update here as well then in case I forget what I'm planning smile

Looking at going back to Fernie in BC in Feb next year

Went to Arraba in the Dolomites this year, had a great time, good food, cheap, and pistes groomed to within an inch of their lives, but missed the challenge and lack of crowds you get in Canada

In Jan it can look like this:

But often the village it's self is snow free as it's so low.

There's usually plenty of snow on the slopes though March...unless you have a poor winter in which case it can look like this:

Skiing was still fine in the mornings even then and just meant a nice tan and the apres started a little earlier than it otherwise would smile

Hopefully it will be more like 2013 that 2014 and it will look like this though:

(not technically Morzine but one of the chairs on the trek back from Avoriaz to the top of the Super Morzine gondola)

Can't wait!

Have 3 weeks over Xmas / New Year in Val D'Isere with the family

Boys long weekend in Val D in Feb

1 week trip to Niesko with the boys, never snowboarded in Japan before so really looking forward to this one.

Long weekend with work, exact dates and location are TBA, but probably early March and will try to get to Ischgl

I'm still looking for another cheeky weekend, probably with the family, somewhere.

With a user name like that where else can you go?
Are you a regular at the season end party?
Just back from maintenance trip nice in summer too but short season everything closed 30 August.

We're staying in Morillon. Out for two weeks Xmas & New year, every weekend for 3 days (Fri eve - Mon eve) & a week in Jan, Feb, March & April so a total of around 55 days plus the St Anton week.

Back to Arinsal (Andorra) next March. Usually excellent snow, ski back (almost into) the hotel bar and no crowds.
And I even get a 'senior citizen' discount on my lift pass......

Loving the pictures of Morzine, earlier in the thread.
Can't wait for the snow to start falling.
So far, I have a boys weekend in Chatel at the end of Jan, half term with the family in Morzine and Chamonix for my sons school ski competition in March.
Let it snow!

I'll be doing the season in Morzine again. Can't wait! Started making arrangements with various friends to come and visit.

Don't really need them but started browsing new skis.....

Someone told me the gulf stream is looking like it is going to be favourable so the season should be a good one!
