Random question - Luton airport

I was driving out from Luton airport two days ago on the stretch of road with roadworks heading up to the m1. I was moving with traffic, speedo on 38 so about 35 as mine over reads at the moment.

Didn't see the police scamera. But I'm not sure if that's a 40 limit as on the opposite carriageway, or lower due to roadworks.

Anybody know?

Limit is 30 for the whole of the roadworks.

I've only seen the police there 2 or 3 times since the roadworks went in, but I persist in annoying other drivers by travelling at 30mph. I could have 9 points by now, maybe 18 if you count the police hanging around on the exit route from the M1, so I'll stick with annoying other drivers because it's cheaper.
