Just a thought but maybe someone could arrange a weekly breakfast meet, every Sunday at a different venue, that way it will be smaller and more people will get a chance to come along on and would be good for variety.
Like I said just a thought, used to meet up at the Toby carvery in Eastleigh every Sunday with my petrolhead mates and then have a Sunday Hoon but not done it for a while now.
Am rubbish at organising these things but sure someone would be able too?

Yes and they are very good, but not everyone can attend on a weeknight, this would give more people a chance to meet, wouldn't be in competition with the monthly would just be a seperate event, and not aimed at having loads of people turning up, also not everyone wants to travel too far hence changing venue every week to keep it from getting stale.

We do have a breakfast meet at the crown and stirrup once a month.

There is also the best fried bread in the country served with the breakfast at the Crown Stirrup.

Really, I hate fried bread! It's a shame there's no black pudding at the Crown and Stirrup!

They are on a Sunday and I feel people are willing to travel, I used to drive for an hour to the crown and stirrup as did others. As it's once a month it's a similar cost to meeting each week in terms of fuel.

I'd be happy to travel a fair distance, as long as there's a good group of people and a decent breakfast. It has to be said I'm a bit of a food snob, so I'm not interested in attending a Carvery, or Hungry Horse type breakfast! getmecoatpaperbag
