Sell me a Land Rover of some sort please
Discussion
In the market for an "approved used" LR (Discovery or FFRR - not sure yet.)
I've now been to 5 separate dealers around the country and not once has anyone approached me.
Previously made contact with one chap who had a nice Discovery but it stank of fags. Asked him take my details and drop me a note if anything suitable arrived. He's since had 3 or 4 possibles on his site but no call.
Today, I was browsing one dealer in Nottingham for almost 20 minutes and made sure the folk behind the glass had spotted me.
I always make sure I wash in the mornings and look safely middle aged and presentable so it can't be that.
I turn up in a Landcruiser with "For Sale" signs in the windows so they can see I like 4x4s and may need a replacement.
If I was a salesman on a quiet morning, I'd pop over for a chat at the very least just to break the boredom.
