Ok guys, due to work I won't be back in the U.K until late November/early December. It's so painful reading some of the Tiv posts knowing that you guys are roaring around enjoying your cars. The roads here aren't so good but the weather is almost always fine. Amazingly, sitting in a taxi everyday doesn't give the adrenalin rush I crave from driving a fast car.

I have been searching the web for Tuscans religiously. I am currently stuck on the colour combo. My choices have been narrowed down to the following in no order:

Black/black leather
Black/tan leather
Charcoal grey/mulbury&grey
Tahiti? blue(the deep blue)/cream&blue

What say you the jury?

Anyway, back to my original question. How to buy a TVR? When I come back to London I will be buying a Tuscan S6 and shipping it out to N.Y after a 2 week stint in France. I intend to buy a used example so that most of the teething problems will have been sorted. What sort of mileage should I go for? Which dealer/s do you guys suggest I contact? What should I look out for? How much of a discount do you think I could get(paying in cash)?

Can't wait to get back and meet up with as many PH's as poss.

cheers everyone.

Crap, I should be sleeping right now as it's 4:20am.

I thought the Charcoal grey/Mulbury looked awesome. Reminds me of the 550Maranello colour combo. Saw one at Dreammachines but it didn't mention a/c. This is a must as I will be in St.Tropez, driving across the U.S then poss taking it to HK. I think it's been mentioned before but how can I increase the a/c? Add something on maybe or add 2nd a/c unit.

**not so O/T**

On the verge of convincing other half to get a Tuscan too(instead of new 500SL). I think I may v.well succeed as I used the "everyone will have one, just imagine going out and seeing someone in the same outfit" line. just need to swing her round to one of my colour combo's and I'll be laughing!

Charcoal grey/ mulberry and grey combo for me. Never been struck on black cars (too dark, hard to keep clean IMO). Tahiti Blue/Cream nice contrast though. But Grey/mulberry a classy and complementary scheme.

I've decided on black. I will be tinting the windows, jacking the back up, l.e.d-ing the washer jets and putting a couple of neon lights underneath. Three spoke copy alloys, some re-moulded tyres and few max power stickers would finish it off pretty well. Not to mention switching my other half for a rough lass who'll do it all for ya!

Seriously, the metalic grey/mulbury looks very nice and a little different. Classic colour combo on an fantasticly styled car. Also, just got off the phone with the other half in London and someone on the road next to us has a Black/black tuscan. Might just sway it and get the other half to buy a blue one.

Anyone got a good discount on their Tiv?

grey/mulbery is fantastic!
I had it on my former Griff and still miss it sometimes

but how about the colour of the Tuscan R on the TVR factory website: black/green/purple-ish, this is simply the most outraging colour around IMO

Gerjo,

Are you talking about tvr-eng.co.uk?

I can only find the orange-ish colour R. I am dying to see the colour you described as it sounds wild.

yes, but they seem to have changed the pictures of the R; before had one in the before mentioned colour
Has someone saved one of these pictures?
I try and see if I can find one somewhere
