As title says. after two lengthy lay offs (holidays) the fuel pump does not prime. Last time I changed the relay and all was good. This time no dice. Surely the relay hasn't gone again ? Please help!! confused

Last time that my fuel pump stopped working I spent ages playing with the relays and immobiliser, it had been a little bit temperamental before it finally gave up. Turned out to be the live wire not making a decent connection on the fuel pump, they're only a crappy little push on spade connection and hang very close to the bottom of the car.

Have you replaced the ECU relay as well? The two relays are interconnected. Many people make the mistake of replacing just one or even worse swapping them over, not realising they are moving the faulty component around but will still get the same symptoms.
