Do you work for, or are affiliated with, rnd engineering by any chance?
What aspects of their work were you so pleased with?

I can't believe that there are still people out there who actually hand over a huge wad of cash before anything is done to their engine!

Personally, I wouldn't touch any company that asks for the money first, before doing a job - there are better, more professional alternatives. IMOHO..

Just be careful, I'm all up for giving companies second chances, but some just simply do not learn or take negative feedback in a positive constructive way.

So presumably Mark is buying parts for his rebuild from RND, perhaps having some work done through them where you need specialist equipment, and they're happy to give him advice when he needs it whilst he is putting it all together..

Not sure there's an issue with that if my assumptions are correct.. so along as they supply him with the parts he's asked for, and give him good advice...

Time will tell !

Keep us informed Mark.

AIUI that's what Clive f did with seemingly very good results.
