Hi Guy

Had my alignment done some time ago at a well recommended garage and since then multiple other trusted garages have questioned their wisdom thinking it's a bodge. I wasn't impressed with the alignment garage and didn't come away feeling confident with the service offered however the car drove well so didn't worry.

They installed a camber bolt in the passenger side front damper - hub connection to get everything as close as possible.

should I be worried about this as now a few people have questioned this? It's not he end of the world to find another garage to get full alignment done but I rather not waste my money.

They are sometimes called crash bolts in the US, but I have seen them available as OEM parts, eg, you can order them from a dealer, so it looks like they aren't a big problem.
