I couldn't decide . . . so I bought both!

Well the Porsche is gone.
Although selling a car is always a sad moment (and making circa £1k on it) I must admit that I never really gelled with it. It was a great car, never let me down and was extremely capable but it never really felt special.
Now lets see how things go with the S2K (and my new toy but I'll save that for 'Biker Banter').

For cars that on paper do a similar thing. They're actually totally different.
The Honda is revy and loose (great fun) the porsche is grunty, grippy and balanced (different type of great fun).
I had a similar M3 / 911 dilemma a few years back and stuck with the 911 because it was very different to what I had become used to (4 years later, still enjoying it)
Now, if you like the same attributes in a bike that you like in a car, you'll be buying a CBR 6 or and R6 or something?

Weirdly the only thing I don't like about the Honda is the rev band (power band) simply because of the lack of torque. Even the slightest bit of spirited driving requires a lot of revs and ASBO looks from others. But in essence that is what I like about it, its focused! I'm still undecided. The Honda is revy and loose (great fun) the porsche is grunty, grippy and balanced (different type of great fun).
