I am now seriously in the hunt for a 30th anniversary model, but without any success... If there are any dealers out there I wouldn't mind hearing from you :-)
You might struggle, a friend who works for Peugeot informed me they had all sold before the official release date.Marlow11 said:
Hi,
What does the 208 gti cost to service, how often and plug changes etc please?
Thanks
I have'nt had mine serviced yet other than a quick check up and top up of oil for free, i'm only on 7K miles, but i think a 1st service should easily come in at under £200. Service intervals are 20K miles or 1 year. What does the 208 gti cost to service, how often and plug changes etc please?
Thanks
Hi Paul,
That's strange, I thought they had all been built; only 100 coming to the uk, all here and bar a few, all sold. Mine was from Chester, out of the showroom, just walked in to have a look due to the advert and being a fan on the 205 in my early years, had it two weeks, white, done less than 200 miles so far, planning to get out in it today.......cheers

Lucky you, seems they haven't all been built, I went for the black and red (a bit marmite but I like it). Hopefully it won't be to much of a wait. I've told them now that I'll wait until 1st March even if it comes before that, for the sake of a few weeks I may as well get the 15 plate.
If you get a spare chance would be good to see some pics of the interior as the peugeot stock images are quite limited.

I seriously considered buying a 30th Anniversary Edition 208 GTi, if it weren't for an extremely unhelpful dealer principle and a total lack of manoeuvrability in the price department, there might be one on my drive.
Instead, a 64 plate Fiesta ST3 is in its place. I have to say, I do love it.

Just had my standard 208GTi by the insurer's this week. Gutted is an appropriate word. Having looked into a 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport, and being advised the build date is November (according to the latest supply bulletin) I shall be without for a while. I will probably simply wait until the end of the year, place an order and then go for a March delivery, if I can be bothered to wait.
