Alternator output voltage of Griff 500

What should the alternator output be on a standard Griffith 500?
Mine is between 13.2 and 13.5v at 2000 RPM. I am fairly sure this is too low (14.2v sounds better to me) so I'm about to add the alternator to the long list of things that has been replaced on my car this year.
Thanks.
I'm getting somewhere between 14.0v and 15.0v on the dash gauge. I haven't checked it with a meter. PeteMine is between 13.2 and 13.5v at 2000 RPM. A good healthy alternator should give a charging voltage of 14.5V to 14.7V! I would suspect the regulator on your alternator is on it's way out. This may be followed at some point by the red charge LED flickering. Regards, PeteMine is between 13.2 and 13.5v at 2000 RPM.
