Did the crew challenge thing last night, works fine but be aware that you need to be a member of a crew, also if you fail the challenge you lose $250k so don't eff it up.

I read you can publish a playlist as a challenge, but when I tried the button wasn't available to do so.

So doing that and a mission or three should net you $300k a day, double if you have two characters.

I've bought a dukes, its pretty quick and less oversteery than the other muscle cars, but when it goes, it goes right around. Mooching over a stallion, but they don't seem to spawn in traffic and I wanted to have a go before buying one, if for no reason than I don't want to ditch an existing car just to try one out. Also it seems there are three variants (convertible, vinyl roof, hardtop) and its pot luck which one you get.

I bought it briefly, and had the convertible, which is permanently open top, as in you cant put the roof up like on all other convertibles in the game, so bear that in mind, otherwise its not bad, but I found the looks of the back end of the car a bit awkward for my tastes.

The back of the dukes could be better too, it looks very 70s and the rest is more 60s.

It has the same interior as the vigero, including the sort of orangey/bronze roll cage that does not change colour regardless of respray. My vigero used to have the same thing but oddly since moving to PS4 it is body colour on that one.

I need another garage really, I'd like a couple of bikes and a sandrail thing, a sedan and some spare slots for swapping between new cars as they come out. Have deliberated over flogging the roosevelt, but as its unobtainable now I'd prefer to keep it than sell and then want it back later.


I got an email from Tesco today, saying that they are sticking to their price promise and giving me £2 back, so the game has cost me £15 after the various discounts.

I got the same - though I notice Tesco's price promise isn't as good as Amazon's. The price they charge went down to £40 then back up to £42, but they only refund the difference to the price on the release date; Amazon promise to refund the difference between the price when you order and lowest price up to delivery date.

Basically I'm going with Amazon next time I pre-order!

I tried the same, put the PS4 in DMZ and did all the port forwarding but made no difference at all.
The best way Ive currently found is to go into invite only and then go on call for missions, or get an invite from a crew member to join their lobby.
I got one last night and got straight into one with 8 PH members, then the usual offroad antics started

Just let online load normally into a public session and there's 19 people in it!
Hopefully they are sorting things out

Everyone just "left" the session, still not fixed then!

Same for me, when I do find sessions with people in them they all seem to 'leave' after a few minuets.

So this challenge thing, I understand how you do it. Can you only do it once a day or something? Or can you do a different challenge each time and get extra cash?

Couldn't find that challenge in the end. Loads of others with similar payouts but you can't tell if they are do-able or not and its too risky with the giant buy-ins. Whose on tonight? Anyone up for a bit of mission and first person survival grinding? I want to get level 400 by the end of December

i was scared aswell of the challenge, eventually went for the down in the ditch one, not sure if they are still their.

Their is one just called "Cash" and another called instas- something cant rember the rest.

Basically its 2 laps of down in the ditch in 3:31, This is easily comfortable, i fell off the little metal bridge that crosses the sewar at the end and had to reverse out through the water and i still made it with 25 seconds to spare.

I thought you had to bet on yourself but saw no option screen for it, Then once i completed it, £500,000.
So i see its been changed to 1 a day, What happens if i do it before the day, Will it still take the entrance fee but not giving me the wining? Aka lose £250,000?

either may i would make use of it, You know rockstar wont let people be making 250,000 a day for long, I remember grinding a mission called crystal something for 9000 when gta online first started and the original rooftop rumble, If their is a good way to make money it wont last long and you dont want to miss out.

Cheers for the invites lee & Pete last few nights. Been trying to box off single player in FPM before I start online, nearly there so should be back with crew this weekend! can't wait!!

I've just spent quite a long time finessing the looks of my second character only to find I can't get online either. I really hope it has saved the character creator bit!

Ah, seems to be there in the form I wanted when I go to 'Choose Character' even if I can't get into any online session. Hoorah.

Have you all tried invite only mode?
That always works for me, or get an invite to a PH crew member's game.

The wood mill survival we did last night was really good, I'd not done that one before and by pure luck found a really good spot

Tried Crew, Invite Only, Solo, turning it off and on again... nothing works. Is anyone online currently? Everyone I can see is showing as in story mode.
