The vehicle explosion mechanics have changed a bit - they don't automatically blow up vehicles next to them but set them on fire so they explode after a short time.

That's my worry. I've got a few of the more expensive cars (500K Upwards that I don't want any more and can't sell them to LSC. So looks like I've just got to take the hit on them? (I haven't played since PS4 was released)

Is anyone else struggling to join lobbies/Races? I managed to join Pete last night, But earlier on a few of us couldn't get into the same race etc, It would just kick us all out into seperate lone races once it had loaded. Strange.

Also, the load times are forever! Hope they sort it all out because I loved it on ps3.

We need to try that heli mission again with the packages, that was hard as hell with just two of us. Rockstar servers were a mess again last night though, couldn't get any races going with anyone. It kept splitting folk up or kicking you back to story mode. Got a full garage again now spent about 6 million on cars last night

How many early high end cars do you have which you can't sell? Things like the Entity are worth keeping (bulletproof back end, second fastest supercar) but it might be worth taking the hit for any that you are sure you won't want in future. Shame people are still caught by this a year on

You have bought a second garage haven't you? Because having 10 more spaces might obviate the need to get rid.

ETA: Pete, you sent a couple of invites to Crime Scenester on Sunday evening - did you manage to complete it? That's a pig of a mission, as is Pickup Sticks (I assume that's the one with the packages you're referring to).

Yep, you can buy a second property I recommend a 10 car garage with no apartment for value; there are 6 of those, one in South Shambles Street near the docks (not particularly close to any LS Customs but is the cheapest), 2 at the airport (these are the next cheapest and there is a Customs near) and three near the East LS customs. All between about $100k and $150k.

Yeah they were the ones! We'll have to give them another shot tonight. Managed to get 500k from the challenges last night in the end. Found one called "g". Point to point race on the "obstacle what" course. Easy to complete with a standard super with about 30 seconds to spare. You can check it out in rockstar verified races first.

Thanks, invite accepted and Wiki updated. I've only had a chance to take a brief wander around some of the map but the scale of things has overwhelmed me a little, it's huge! Just trying to learn the controls at the moment, currently doing a weird shuffle walk more than I'd like and driving into things. Work needed for sure

You can sell a car every 48 minutes (real time). Just take it to the Los Santos customs and flog it. Nicer cars are worth more. Every so often a green car will appear on the map, you need to grab this, go to Los Santos and respray it (any colour, so pick the cheapest one) and then deliver it to the docks. Buy some sticky bombs, every so often an armoured truck will appear, sticky bomb the back doors, it''ll drop money. Get ready to scarper as the cops will be on you fairly quickly.
You can rob stores (shopping baskets on the map), just go in and point a gun at the cashier, hell fill a bag that you can pick up. Usually nets a few grand, again get ready to run from the cops.

You will see red circles on the map, these are gang attacks, you'll have to kill 15-25 people that will come at you, don't worry if you die, doesn't really matter. The gang members will drop cash and weapons and there will also be two green ammo crates too, each one contains $500 and some weapon or other. This is a good (cheap) way to pick up ammo and guns, max $2-2.5k out of each one. There are about 50 in total.

Other than that do missions, races, whatever. Crew will be able to invite you to higher missions than you can start yourself, so jump in on those.

As Jobbo said a page or two back, just buy a cheap 10 car garage, spend the money on cars and ammo.

Great info, cheers! I did wander into a store yesterday with the intention of trying to rob it but couldn't remember how to get my gun out, in the end the police came anyway and away I went with them

I'm not likely to be on tonight but I'll be on tomorrow; got them both in my mission list so I can host them if you like. Crime Scenester I've always done by using an Entity or Zentorno, reversing up the alley and shooting the cops as I go then leaping out and back in. Not sure how well that'll work now since cars don't seem to be as bulletproof as they used to be...

of a mission at the best of times with 4 people, with 2 it's brutal.

My Buzzard got it's first outing last night, also been using the minigun quite a lot. I like it.

Couldn't find a decent challenge last night, there was a criminal records one, 5 laps in 2:10 which I don't think is possible, least not for a numpty like me. Another one said 6:30 bit it was for the rounds, so again not possible.

Beware, if you feared the hammer of freedom Norfolk now has a minimum !

I pulled some of the video from Sunday of Lee in his dodo, quality is crap from ps4, files are quite big too - 125mb for a few minutes. I think these links should work

Is that full quality? DJDest's video above of finding the modded Sandking seems much better in terms of frame rate.

Yeah I spent a while looking for a 250k race last night. The 5 laps of criminal records in 2:10 was the only one i could find.
I did take the risk and did it with a fully modded zentorno in 2:04, was a nervous 5 laps though. I found i had to slow down when crossing the start/finish line as there is a bump there which is now spinning me round every now and again!

I didn't take the risk on my second character though. Practicing with the stock adder I only managed to do it in 2:09 with 5 clean laps so didn't want to risk that.

Not sure, I haven't changed any settings.
To get them off the ps4 I exported them to usb and then uploaded to dropbox, maybe this looses quality over direct upload to YouTube ? Or upload to dropbox stuffed them up

I'll have a look tonight for settings in the record function

Those dropbox videos are definitely reduced rate, the one I did automatically did 720p, I wonder if you can change it to 1080p, I doubt it though.
Considering how easy it is to share off the PS4 I think its perfectly good enough though, Im sure there will be some classic moments captured in the future
