Something for Pete's benefit, but also for anyone else who hasn't played for a little while. The payouts for contact missions changed a couple of months ago - all missions pay out well now, if you take long enough doing them. That can include just waiting around (handy if you want a cup of tea, or G&T 
)
The money calculation is relatively simple. Every mission unlocks at a particular level. Payout is based on time. The payout is calculated based on 6000+20*level, subject to the following multipliers:
For easy, 1x; for medium, 1.25x; for hard, 1.5x. So always do it on hard.
For number of playes, 1=1x, 2=1.1x, 3=1.2x, 4 or more=1.3x. Don't need to be crew members, just more bodies means more money though it maxes out pay at 4 people.
For time:
complete in <1min, 0.1x
1-2min, 0.25x
2-3min, 0.5x
3-4min, 0.75x
4-6min, 1x
6-8min, 1.2x
8-10min, 1.4x
10-12min, 1.6x
12-15min, 1.8x
>15min, 2x
Bear in mind the multipliers are cumulative so if you had 4 people doing Trash Talk (unlocked at level 81) and taking over 15 minutes, you could get $29,720 each. You've really got to hang around doing nothing for a good while though!
If you're after RP then that mostly increases proportionately (though it doesn't drop off as fast below 4min) but it's impossible to be quite as specific; some missions have loads of people to kill (you get RP for each, adding to the total), some give you RP for doing something (losing the cops, for instance) etc.
The important point is that there is now no go-to grinding mission; you can do any of them, take your time about it, and make decent money. My personal favourite is Blow Up III; it opens at level 40 but doesn't cost much in ammo if you're cunning about how you destroy the cars, and wanted levels are turned off so you can even go up to the fort, steal a jet and destroy the cars that way - taking longer and increasing the payout.

So are these clips easy to make straight from the PS4, you guys dont have capture cards etc? I knew it was easy to stream to twitch so is this just cropping from a stream?

Looks like there is another 1gb update out.
Is the schafter any better than the tailgater ? I've got the latter but not overly impressed, I think the stainer (looks like a 90s impala) is better!
Had some good races with devilstreak and Co last night although the language in chat (mine included) was terrible - never heard a lamppost described like that before
I looked again at Lee's dodo videos, it's just drop box screwing them up. I will upload elsewhere.

when something interesting happens, just click share, save the clip, quick edit in share factory, then upload direct to youtube.. jobs a good 'un .. Ive gotta get a PS4 ASAP!! lol

NPC drivers seem much more keen to chase after you if you have a minor collision with them now. The whole world feels more interactive.

Ps4 caches your game play, so after something cool happens you press the share button on the controller and it saves the video, you can then export to usb as mp4 file or upload directly to YouTube or farcebook.Ive gotta get a PS4 ASAP!! lol

Ned, go to the interaction menu, you can select what you hear there to just crew or friends etc. Long press the touch pad on ps4 or the select button (I think, is one of the two in the middle of the controller) on ps3.
There are ps4 bundles around with a couple of games for about £350 I think. Try to find one with psn+ included as you need it to play online. Buy from tesco and give the card points to the missus for Xmas, she can't complain if you help to save money, right?
