Want to buy Mini Cooper S Gen 1 - Help?

I'm thinking of buying a 54 plate MCS with around 60k miles for around £4k. Does this sound reasonable or am I being mad? What things are likely if any to go wrong on such a car? I really want you all to say get it they're great because I want one.. I live in London and often drive down south on weekends and a MCS seems to be the most fun for the money. Thoughts?

I'm also in the process of looking. Mileage and year and price all sound pretty much what I'd expect, even a little good on price actually. As long as the servicing is up to date, plenty of history etc.

I'm sure some of the more experienced with this marque will be along but it does seem to be in line with current markets.
