On my iphone i create a meeting - I then add the email of the other half's phone as an invitee. On her phone she gets the invite, but when she clicks on yes to accept it, it opens up her Google email account diary (which is her works diary)

Is there a way for this to just drop straight into her iPhone diary?

Best way is to share an icloud calendar. You can also use your own calendar for things you don't want to share but anything you want to share can be seen in each others phones:

My wife and I have done this since the feature became available and it's fantastic. I can't begin to describe how much simpler it's made booking nights out with friends, family occasions and our holidays etc; no more waiting to ask if each other are free, querying start times, which restaurant we're meeting friends at etc. Each event has a huge free text field as well for info, links etc. My wife has a seperate work and home diary too, so I know where she is with work each day and what time she's likely to be home and want dinner etc. Extremely useful.

The other great feature on iOS that my wife and I use and love is 'Find my Friend'. This means we can tell where each other are. For example, if we're meeting friends but travelling seperately and one of us is delayed, I can say to people exactly how far away my wife is instantly and how long she'll be, or when I cook in the week I can see where she is and thus time dinner to be on the table when she gets home. FmF also gives me piece of mind when she goes off on 10 or 15 mile runs in the countryside on her own, and if she has a problem and needs picking up, I don't even need to ask where she is, because I already know smile This app only works in a happy relationship of course biggrin Jolly useful though.
