Boot glass not opening

Hi all help please
I have a range rover 08 sport
The three button key stoped working last week, I was told the key battery was faulty, so had to get a new key from land rover, the key new key is now working But the old key only used to open the boot glass and the to open the whole boot I pressed the button on the boot lid. But now the key opens the whole boot and I can't open the glass, not even on the button above the number plate, is there another way of opening the glass ?
Is this somethink they have done in the key program ?
Or can I change this in the car set up ?

Hi,
Could be two things.The most likely, is that the upper tailgate switch is broken; this is a very common problem and is due to water getting in to it. A replacement is cheap enough- £35 ish and it can be a DIY job to replace.
Or it could be that your 3rd button on the remote just needs reprogramming- it can be programmed to open the tail gate, turn on the lights, lower the suspension and possibly open the whole boot (not sure about that one)- details on how to re programme will be in your manual
With the whole boot shut try pressing the unlock buttons on the dash, and see if they release the upper tail gate.
