Apologies if this has been done to death (I'm sure mod will remove if so) but I just thought a simple, no arguments or discussions, straw poll...

I'm not Scottish so my views are a bit irrelevant, but whilst getting away from Westminster politicians certainly has its appeal, I have seen nothing from the "yes" camp to actually make me believe they have a clue what they'd with with independence if they got it.

Who knows? The people voting are PH members, that's all we know.

Then it's as reliable as the other polls!

I presume that you are not Scots wink

I can utterly empathise with your feelings. (I have been on a training course that explains big words to me)

If I could apologise on behalf of my country, I would. Let me say personally that I am sorry you have had to suffer this.

It really is horrid - Sorry again.

I'd also like to apologise.

Don't worry though as of next year we will be introducing a new class in schools. Basically its going to teach kids the difference between lies and facts and the difference between patriotism and nationalism.

Also phrases such as bluff and buster and words such as scaremongering will become illegal.

I'll be at my polling station at 7am sharp to cast my 'no' vote.

The whole process recently has been a divisive, ugly, nationalistic circus devoid of adult debate, or (looking at you, SNP) what most people would call 'facts'. I'm sorry for what some of my people have done, or said in the name of Scotland.

There are some oppressed people in the world right now. Us Scottish aren't amongst them.

I don't know how anyone with a brain could take "Fish called Alex" seriously?

Last thing among all of the rest is that I don't want to get a visa if I will go to...Manchester/London etc.

One of the "sure" points of the Yes campaign is that we(Scotland) will get the pound..... but at the same time Fish Alex wants to join EU.
Did anyone told HIM that one of the condition FOR ANY country that will apply to join EU is to ACCEPT the Euro as a currency?
So why he even bother to talk about this?
The guy is 100% certifiable.

NO from me as well.

The thing is the majority of Yesers actually do think they 'will always get the Government they vote for'.

They are actually stupid enough to deny the way that a) democracy, and b) arithmetic, works.

biggrin

I personally think that the bedroom tax is the right thing to do.
The local government is the Landlord, so the Landlord pump up your rent....if this is a private owner no one will make a comment, but because this is "Benefit Britain Government" all the benefit cheats are up in arms.
If you have family of 2 and you have 3 bedrooms COUNCIL house, what is wrong to pay a bit more for rent for the 2 EMPTY bedrooms?
