Just watching this now.

Just had a local road of mine on, the A18 at Grimsby and the fatal crash that happened on it with an entire family being lost.

Watching it was almost amusing though since the ones interviewed all said, it's a twisty and narrow shortcut for HGVs between the A16 and the A180 and the road has poor surface issues. Speed can be an issue, but most accidents aren't attributed to just speed. Unsighted bends, people unaware of the road direction and height differences, hitting pot holes and clipping the verges etc. There solution suggestions seems to be better signage and more of it, maybe electronic signs, crash barriers on some of the more sharper and unsighted bends and just better maintenance of it All really good suggestions I thought.

But, our local council's solution? Blanket 50mph average speed camera limit for the whole A18 (and all dual cariageways in Grimsby too).

Brilliant! rolleyes

Robert Webb reading a script is very flat. Who the hell hasn't heard of Gravel-ly Hill and pronounces it Grave-lly Hill laugh

I don't know why they got Robert Webb to do it anyway. His piss-takey voice isn't best suited for this sort of thing.

I watched this, agree with that his voice does not suit serious subjects.

I relate his voice to narrating the film cock ups show on BBC3.

I think this quite often.I watch things and think who the f~~k authorised him/her to narrate that.
There was a bloke doing the police interceptors thing for a while, proper gravelly/blokey/matey type put on voice.Makes me cringe just thinking about it
One of the presenters on the BBC breakfast/news programme seems to have a permanent smarmy smirk on his face.
I did a random online test the other day.It was to see if you knew a false smile from a real one,I scored 15/20 so I am ok at noticing these things.
