Thought I'd introduce myself in this part of the forum. wavey

I'm based in Somerset and I've currently got a Mk4 Astra daily and this for the weekends:

I've decided it's time to replace the Astra with something a bit more interesting so umm... Monaro it is!

Currently on the look out for an 6.0 VXR and I've sent James @ Elite an email to try and arrange a viewing.

Can't wait!

I thought his was the green car - especially if he's getting a Monaro. confused

Welcome to the site. James at Elite has just got a nice Ute in, if you fancy something even less common than a Monaro. wink

Thanks guys, I've now got a viewing with James sorted for Saturday.

The Skyline is a long term project (I've got a thread in reader's cars) and I figured whilst I'm in the position to do it I might as well run something a bit mad as a daily as well.

Update: Had the viewing on Saturday. It was great to meet James and see the cars he's got in currently and take one out for a test drive.

I'm now convinced it's the car for me, so watch this space!

Elite Cars should come with a Government Wealth warning. hehe

Wait until you've got one, and start looking at shiny bits at Monkfish Performance. laugh

You're not wrong. hehe

I decided to buy the car I test drove at Elite. I pick it up next weekend. It's going to be a long week!

Ooohhh - how rude. At least the Morris is a 'coupe' - I guess a Traveller would be more suited to you VXR8 guys Araf.

Plenty of room for the Tupperware, woolly blanket and Thermos. And all that lovely wood. lick

Well, I picked the car up this morning. It's epic!

Massive thanks to James for sorting everything and making the whole process easy from start to finish.

It was prepped brilliantly but predictably as I was about to leave the heavens opened and it's now filthy so I haven't got any pictures yet. furious

Hopefully will see you at a meet. Will be having one at mine in mid November

Cheers, it did brighten up a bit near the end. I'll definitely try and get to some meets next year when I've got more time. I should have been studying today!

Thanks, I've added it and updated the register.
