Got an email this morning from Creation Watches about 50 watches in their clearance sale.

It includes some G-Shocks and a Seiko Monster so I thought it may appeal to some of you on here.

Details are on here:

I have no doubt that this will get deleted but (and it's only to look out for ph'ers). I've basically had the cost of an skx stolen by this lot.

No way of sorting it out and because it's a foreign country I'm having to write it off.

I know a lot of people have had happy dealings but it's not without risk...

I live in Singapore - personally I'd use skywatches for Seiko .. As they also have a walk in shop .prices are the same as Creation +/- and they are authorized seiko dealers. I think creation may be grey importers ( hence no Seiko boxes).

Sorry to hear u have had a problem - hope they resolve it for you .

The Creation Watches sales are similar to furniture warehouse sales though, it won't be your first email from them !

Did you pay on your credit card? If so contact them. You should be able to get them to refund you

The irony. What arrived at work today? You guessed it, one SKX007J. It curiously came in proper Seiko box with original booklet. What's more, the indices line up!

The shipping date on the box was from early August so it took 6 weeks to get to me but it has arrived.

So yes you'll get what you paid for but the communication and way they dealt with the whole matter was beyond a joke.

You hear the odd story about Harold from Yobokies but in reality he's a one man band. Inevitably there will be the odd hiccup. Given Creation are supposed to be a fully fledged international company (albeit on the grey market) they are pitiful at customer service.

So buy all means buy but do it via paypal or a credit card so if it goes pear shaped you have some redress.

That's odd. I had a parcel go missing and they sent a replacement straight away.

Hmm they barely spoke English when I contacted them and always dodged very direct questions. Anyway no point endlessly complaining. I've made my feelings clear and PH is easy to search via google so if people do a creation search they can get a true and honest account.
